This privacy statement explains how Insight Real Estate B.V. handles your data.
What data do we record?

You sell or rent an object.
When you engage Insight Real Estate to sell or rent an object, the following data can be processed:
• your name, address and other contact details, such as your telephone number and email address;
• the reason for sale or rental;
• the date of registration of the object and the period that the object is or has been for sale or for rent;
• the description and characteristics of the object, such as the asking (rental) price, year of construction, surfaces and layout, cadastral data, WOZ value and photos and videos of the property;
• the reason for any withdrawal of the mediation assignment;
• data that are required if a legal assessment must be carried out in the context of the Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing (Prevention) Act (Wwft);
• data necessary to draw up the purchase or rental contract, including your identity;
• when the object has been sold or rented: the transaction data, such as the sales or rental price, as well as the transaction date;
• other information that you provide to Insight Real Estate B.V. provided.

You are looking for an object.
When you use Insight Real Estate B.V. when purchasing or renting an object or viewing an object, Insight Real Estate B.V. process the following data:
• your name, address and contact details, such as your telephone number and email address;
• the search profile in which your wishes regarding an object are included;
• information about your current object, such as the purchase or rental price;
• your Chamber of Commerce details;
• data that are required if a legal assessment must be carried out in the context of the Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing (Prevention) Act (Wwft);
• data necessary to draw up the purchase or rental contract, including your identity;
• when you have purchased or rented an object: the transaction details, including the purchase or rental price, as well as the transaction date;
• other information that you provide to Insight Real Estate B.V. provided.

You buy or rent an object from someone who uses the services of Insight Real Estate B.V.
If you have purchased or rented an object and the seller or lessor has been assisted by Insight Real Estate B.V., the following data can be recorded:
• your name, address and contact details, such as your telephone number and email address;
• information about the object that you have purchased or rented, such as the address, the characteristics of the object, the purchase or rental price and the transaction date;
• the reason for purchase or rental;
• your Chamber of Commerce details;
• information about your old object, such as the purchase or rental price;
• other information that you provide to Insight Real Estate B.V. provided.
You would like to have a rent review, valuation or advice on an object carried out by Insight Real Estate B.V.

The purpose of this contact is that Insight Real Estate B.V. carries out a rent review (whether or not in accordance with Article 7:303 of the Dutch Civil Code) or a valuation of an object, or provides advice about an object. The following data can be processed:
• your name, address and contact details, such as your telephone number and email address;
• data of the object;
• other information that you provide to Insight Real Estate B.V. provided.

Where does Insight Real Estate B.V. use this data for?
You are selling or renting your object or you are looking for another object
Insight Real Estate B.V. uses your data to carry out the mediation assignment you have given us. Your data may also be used:
• to bring your property to the attention of the public, for example on Funda, on the Insight Real Estate B.V. website. or in sales or rental brochures;
• to carry out appraisals and other valuations;
• to carry out analyzes and reports, so that Insight Real Estate B.V. can improve its services;

You buy or rent an object from someone who uses the services of Insight Real Estate B.V.

Insight Real Estate B.V. uses your data to maintain contact with you, for example to send you the purchase or rental agreement. Your data may also be used:
• for advisory purposes, when you have requested it;
• to carry out analyzes and reports so that we can improve our services;
• for drawing up formal documents, such as a deed of sale, purchase agreement, order confirmation or valuation report.
You would like to have a rent review, valuation or advice on an object carried out by Insight Real Estate B.V.
When you use Insight Real Estate B.V. for a rent review, valuation or advice on/about an object, your data can be used to:
• for advisory purposes, when you have requested it;
• to carry out analyzes and reports in order to carry out the assignment, but also with the aim of improving our services.

Security and retention period
Insight Real Estate B.V. ensures that your data is adequately secured, so that your data is protected against unauthorized use, unauthorized access, modification and unlawful destruction. Your data will be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes indicated above or to the extent necessary for compliance with legal obligations and for resolving any disputes.

Access, modification and deletion
Requests for access to change or deletion of data should be addressed (with reasons) to Insight Real Estate B.V. stating your name and address. Insight Real Estate B.V. will in principle respond to a request for access or change within four weeks. In the event of a request for deletion, Insight Real Estate B.V. delete the relevant personal data as soon as possible, unless the law requires the retention of the relevant personal data or there are (other) compelling reasons that oppose removal.
