A new store of Sostrene grene will soon open in Haarlem. It will be Sostrene Grene's 12th location in the Netherlands. The story of Søstrene Grene begins in 1973 in Aarhus, Denmark's second-largest city, when married couple Inger Grene and Knud Cresten Vaupell Olsen opened a shop that proved to be unique. With a background in fashion and ballet and a love for classical music, the couple set out to create a shop concept that artfully combined music, beautiful product displays and storytelling. The ambition was to offer a little break from everyday life and a little hygge moment - and it still is to this day. Today, the company is owned and run by the second generation of the Grene family, brothers Mikkel and Cresten Grene. Over the past 50 years, Søstrene Grene has grown to over 278 shops in 16 European countries and several online shops - and the family continues to grow.
