After leaving college with a degree in Real Estate & Brokerage in 2000, Niels started his career at Ooms Makelaars in Rotterdam, where he specialised in retail real estate. After three years, he moved to Amsterdam in order to start to work as a real estate advisor at B&O Retail, where he was able to expand his knowledge of the retail market from the Rijnmond region to the twenty largest cities in the Netherlands. He then spent time working for Colliers International. Before deciding to set up his own company, Niels spent a further three years as associate at the Retail agency department of Cushman & Wakefield, where he focused specifically on high-streets and luxury retail.

Niels is committed and conscientious, and has excellent communication skills and thorough knowledge of the market.

Niels has been a founder and partner at Insight Real Estate B.V. since 1 June 2019.
